Pictured here are children happily enjoying safe drinking water at a recently completed Water For People project in Malawi, in southern Africa. To ensure that this water source will be functioning for years to come, Water For People worked with the community itself in its planning and construction. Just as important, they provided training in maintenance as well as hygiene practices so that these children--and their children to come--can live to be productive adults, free of water-related illnesses. Water For People has completed many such projects in partnership with Rotary clubs and districts."
